SMADIT: Collaboration excellence recognised by Vinnova

SMADIT – this cooperative method of tackling the use of drugs andalcohol in traffic began in 2006 as a project between Örebro’s police, regionaland local authorities, addiction centers, social services, prison service andthe Swedish Transport Administration.

Working with the Criminology programme at ÖrebroUniversity the SMADIT network have created a guide to the method, and Vinnovahave recognised this partnership as an excellent example of impactfulcollaboration.
The License Bank is now raising awareness of the SMADIT collaboration, itsresults and the availability of the guide.
